Four clinical scenarios where laser therapy can help when conventional treatments have reached a plateau.
The patient improves, but the pain keeps coming back. Conventional treatments have reached their limits.
They want acupuncture but cannot tolerate the treatment. You lose patients who could benefit.
Parents are looking for alternatives. Needles are not an option. You need a painless, safe treatment method.
Tendinitis, myofascial pain, slow recovery. The body needs a cellular stimulus that manual therapy alone cannot provide.
Laser therapy stimulates the same acupuncture points and meridians as traditional acupuncture. The clinical principles are similar; what changes is the stimulation method. No needles, no pain, no risk of needle-related infection.
RJ Laser devices work on two levels: energy delivery for cellular stimulation, including ATP synthesis and photobiomodulation, and the transmission of biofrequencies, including Nogier, Bahr and Reininger frequencies, as well as meridian frequencies. Wavelengths of 670 nm, 808 nm and 915 nm offer different optical properties and tissue penetration characteristics.
Estimulação celular direta. Os fotorreceptores (citocromos, flavoproteínas) absorvem a energia laser, estimulando a cadeia respiratória e a síntese de ATP.
Energetic modulation using a monochromatic, coherent laser beam. Includes pre-programmed Nogier, Bahr and Reininger frequencies, as well as meridian frequencies.
NASA has explored photobiomodulation for applications including wound healing and maintaining astronaut health during space missions, where access to conventional treatment can be limited. The underlying research investigates how light can influence cellular processes.
Laser therapy is used in some sports medicine and rehabilitation settings, including those serving professional athletes and elite sports teams. Applications include supporting recovery and managing musculoskeletal injuries.
“What high-performance medicine discovered decades ago is now being integrated into clinical practice. It’s time your clinic had access to it too.”
Therapeutic laser for chronic pain, biostimulation in orthopaedics, and needle-free acupuncture.
Photobiomodulation is an active field of scientific research, investigating applications in pain management, tissue repair and rehabilitation.
Clinical research suggests that photobiomodulation may support wound healing and tissue repair in selected conditions.
Studies suggest potential benefits for pain relief and improved function in certain musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions.
Needle-free, non-invasive treatment that is generally well tolerated when administered appropriately, with suitable laser safety precautions.

Official RJ Laser Representative
I am the official RJ Laser representative . My background in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture led me to seek clinical tools that deliver practical value and are well accepted by patients.
I work directly with healthcare professionals to identify the right device for each clinical practice. My role goes beyond supplying equipment: I help practitioners integrate evidence-informed laser technology into their existing treatments.
If you would like to explore how laser therapy could complement your current practice, I am happy to have an informal, no-obligation conversation.
Three simple steps to get started. No commitment, no pressure.
❝
1. Tell us about your clinical needs. Share the conditions you want to treat and the challenges you face in your practice.
❝
2. Explore real clinical cases. We’ll show you practical applications and discuss the results reported in relevant clinical evidence.
❝
3. Find the right device for your clinic. We’ll help you choose the RJ Laser system best suited to your treatments, patients and budget.
Answers to the most common questions about therapeutic laser and photobiomodulation.
Photobiomodulation uses laser light at specific wavelengths to stimulate the same points used in traditional acupuncture. Cellular photoreceptors absorb the light energy, influencing ATP synthesis and cellular respiration. It is painless, non-invasive and available in CE-marked medical devices.
Therapeutic laser works through photobiomodulation, influencing cellular processes, including mitochondrial activity and ATP synthesis. TENS stimulates sensory nerves using electrical impulses to help manage pain. The mechanisms are different: photobiomodulation is silent, painless and non-contact, while TENS delivers electrical stimulation through electrodes placed on the skin.
Laser acupuncture offers a needle-free, non-invasive approach that may be suitable for children when used appropriately. However, safety depends on the device, treatment parameters and clinical indication. Treatment should be performed by a qualified practitioner following the manufacturer’s instructions and appropriate laser eye-safety precautions.
We offer online courses and in-person training in photobiomodulation and VAS/RAC techniques. RJ Laser devices include pre-programmed treatment protocols designed to simplify clinical application from day one. Professional training helps practitioners use the technology safely and effectively in their clinical practice.
Depending on the device and clinical indication, a session may last between 5 and 20 minutes. The LightStream, with up to 15 W of laser power, can deliver high-power treatments efficiently. The LaserPen and Physiolaser Olympic are well suited for laser acupuncture sessions. Actual treatment time depends on the treatment area, dosage and clinical protocol.
RJ Laser devices are CE-marked medical devices manufactured by REIMERS & JANSSEN GmbH in Germany under an ISO 13485:2016 quality management system. CE marking indicates conformity with applicable European Union requirements for the specific device.
Devices must have the appropriate conformity documentation and meet applicable regulatory requirements to be marketed in each European country.
Yes. Contact Oren Ziv to arrange an in-person or online demonstration. We will show you the device in action, explain its features and help you choose the model best suited to your clinical practice.
Low-level laser therapy stimulates cellular activity and may influence ATP production and microcirculation. These effects may help modulate inflammation, support tissue repair and reduce pain in conditions such as tendinitis, sprains and muscle injuries. Clinical outcomes depend on the condition, laser parameters and treatment protocol.
The best device depends on your budget and the number of patients you treat. Three options to consider are the LaserPen 90 V, Physiolaser Olympic and LightStream.
LaserPen 90 V is an excellent choice for practitioners seeking a portable, precise and efficient device for targeted treatments.
Physiolaser Olympic offers greater versatility, making it suitable for clinics with a moderate patient volume.
LightStream is an advanced, high-power solution for clinics treating larger areas and requiring fast, efficient treatment delivery.
The right choice should take into account not only the initial investment, but also expected usage, clinical needs and treatment goals.
